Student Achievement in TOPS
Congratulations to Erin Scanlon! Erin participated in the TOPS program at MIT this past summer as one of just 8 students invited to learn about teaching physics by hands-on experience. In the Oct. 2009 issue of Physics Today, Dr. Daniel Kleppner has a "Reference Frame" column praising the virtues of the program. You can see Erin in the photo of instructors working with students on page 8 (restricted access).
